We are a member of the Hoekwil Hoopla where you can experience the inner beauty of the Garden Route. The Hoopla's 30km circular motor route begins in Wilderness and travels up the scenic Serpentine mountain pass, through the quaint village of Hoekwil to the forestry and farming communities at the foot of the Outeniqua mountains, then down to The Lakes District. Meandering alongside forests, rivers, lakes, and the museum-line railroad, visitors can choose to stop at places of interest to view fascinating country enterprises, arts and crafts, historical features and natural beauty. En route, delicious country fare is offered at picturesque tea gardens and restaurants.
